Bell + Howell Infinity WF Features
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL just expanded its product line to include a wide format scanner. The Infinity WF is available in three models to accommodate document sizes of 36 in., 42 in. and 48 in. wide.
Infinity WF is easy to use and can easily fit into an existing scanning application. No drivers or special software is required - Infinity WF works right out of the box. Simply assign a valid IP address to the scanner, open up a browser, and begin scanning.
Converting over sized documents such as maps, engineering schematics, and architectural drawings into high resolution TIFFs, JPEGs or PDFs has never been easier!Infinity WF utilizes the exact same camera technology as Spectrum XF, BBH's award winning high-volume production scanner. The SharpShooter™ camera technology is a proven high performance platform with a large install base.
Infinity WF proves that going faster doesn't mean you have to sacrifice image quality. The state-of-the-art trilinear camera design - with one line per red, green and blue - ensures images at a finer level of detail in bitonal and grayscale and in more vivid color.
In traditional document scanning, speeds are referred to in terms of pages per minute. Wide format scanners, however, specify scanning speeds in terms of inches per second (ips).
